Do you know that a regular daily morning and evening routine is very beneficial and a huge stress buster? I know it sounds simple but it is very effective. Would you like to de-stress and/or sleep better then this is for you.
In Ayurveda we know that a daily routine (and this can be simple) balances Vata dosha which is mostly affected by stress. Vata dosha is a combination of the elements air and space (ether). I will explain more on Vata and Ayurveda some other time.
Develop a routine – Having a little morning routine after getting up and an evening routine before bedtime are great stress busters which will help you to have a better night’s sleep. Irregularity in life creates stress for body and mind, and regularity creates balance and health. Think of an easy and doable routine, and if you can include mindfulness or meditation even better. You could use one of my audios which you can listen to and/or download here on SoundCloud. Or listen to a relaxation/meditation on an app (e.g. Insight timer).
Making yourself a little schedule that you can follow and doesn’t put more stress on you is important. I will share some ideas for an evening routine in today’s video here.
